It all began when my last class ended; that's when my day really started. It was around 3:00pm, and I was supposed to meet my friends Julie and Annie at the metro. Finally, after Julie and I waited for about 10 minutes, Annie arrives. The inconvenience of having to wait really got to me, but I knew that we would soon be off to Chom, hoping to run into the guys before they did their little interview. So, we headed off to Atwater metro, and walked into my school, which led us to the great outdoors; shall I say the freakin' cold outdoors. Julie, Annie and I began out 5 minute walk, attempting to overcome these great winds that numbed our precious faces (we had to look good for the guys, dammit!!!!) The slush was even harder to overcome.

At times I felt as thought the slush was actually quick-sand, as the brownish grey frothiness weighed me down, literally making me sink. Of course, my dock boots, which I have owned for over 5 years, were practically useless, since they offered me no grip at all. I felt myself slipping every which way, although I had Annie and Julie there to protect me from the elements, and I told them if I was going to go down, that they would be comin' along with me.

Around 4pm, and we finally arrive at Chom. We make our way inside (what lovely interior!); our first priority: WARMTH!!! Then, we went upstairs, and made friendly conversation with the nice receptionist (Its always a good thing to make acquaintances such as these in these types of situation). She said that we could stay upstairs, and wait for the guys. . .but we (smartly) decided to go back downstairs and wait for them there. Blah, blah, blah. . . these stupid other girls (about 5 or so) arrived; "You are here to look at Moist?" (In a french accent) DUH!!!!!

What morons...anyway....there I was gasping at EVERY (literally every) taxi, van, bus, truck, jeep. . . whatever. . . saying "there they are. . ." (mind you, I did this starting when we arrived, yeah, like they were going to come to Chom at 4:30pm...). finally, Annie and Julie go back upstairs, you know, to see if the guys were secretly already there.

Meanwhile, they arrived (I knew Paul right away....his cute little face so pale emerging out of the black window of the black, shiny jeep). He comes out, and with my nice, and convenient Polaroid, I take a shot of him!

And then Mark comes out, and I do the same. I asked them if they would be coming back down, so that we can chat and whatnot, and he said yes. So they go inside the building, and I follow. The elevator opens, and there's Julie and Annie with these blank, yet somehow funny, expressions on their faces. Hehehe...you had to be there! We wait, other girls come (including my old buddies. . . one of whom is that girl who called in to the Internet show, asking Paul about the poems, she's really nice guys...). about half an hour passes, and they come back down.

I take some pix, they sign my tab book, we chat, they leave! It was awesome!!!!! and thank GOD only about 8 people were there!

Hehehe....my friend took this really cute picture of Paul and I...I absolutely love it!

The Show

Who cares about Nancy Dumais. . . food is more important. . . we headed off to MacDonalds to eat, some people see me (oh god. . . it sometimes gets so tiring when all these people who know me come up to me, and I don't even remember their names). Finally, I hide my camera under my shirt, and covered it up with my scarf. We head off to the show, and go in, sit down. We heard the last quarter of Nancy Dumais. . . well, actually, we hear more booing than her singing. She gets off the stage, and everyone gets up and claps. It was the most oddest thing ever. . . of course, they were clapping because they (we) were happy that she finally got off the damn stage. About 20 minutes pass, at which point about 20 people come over to me, old friends, new friends, blah blah blah. . . then, I see David's mommy and daddy, wife, his best friend, his girlfriend, and a few other people David's probably related to. Get this, the entire family sat in the row in front of me.

Tony (David's best friend) was literally sitting in front of me (He's in all my pictures I took of the show). I showed Sabrina my picture of David holding a bagel. . . she sort of laughed. Anyway, it was so cute that his whole family was there. His mother was slightly dancing. She is so adorable! And his dad is so cute too!!! I love them! Anyway, so they opened with Silver, and made their way through a great veriety of songs, including some favourites like Machine Punch Through, This Shrieking Love, Break Her Down and Believe Me (acoustic). The highlights of the show were Resurrection, Tangerine, Enter Sandman-Billie Jean thingy, Jeff's mandolin playing (he's awesome!), David pouring water in Jeff's shirt. . . hehehe. . . Kevin's trumpet playing (he's awesome), and Paul's singing which was grrrreeaaat!!!! it was an incredible show, one of the best in fact, despite the venue! Energetic at its best, vibrant, action-filled and funny!! Definitely one of the best shows I've seen, and I've seen a lot!

After the show, I said hello to mommy Usher, and she asked me if I enjoyed the show, and I said; "yes I did, it was so energetic, as always!" she's so cute! We (like everyone: Jaded, Erin, Amy, Julie Annie and I, plus my other buddies) tried to get backstage, but no luck charley. . .

Anyway, then Annie and I went to MacDonalds to get a nice, cold, LARGE lemonade......oooooohhhhh yyyyyyyeeeeaaaahh......was that ever refreshing! Hehe! Then we went home, I studied for a bit, my neck finally gave out, and I took some Midol and went to bed (I find midol works 10 times better for anything....headaches, back pains, whatever! If it weren't for midol, I probably would have died!).

So that was it...sorry it was so long! It was a fabulous night, one which I will never forget!
